Session Details

By the end of this session, participants should be able to: 1. Identify signs and symptoms of abuse across different age groups and various cultural backgrounds. 2. Recognize risk and protective factors associated with child safety. 3. Develop a culturally-sensitive approach to evaluating and reporting child abuse.  4. Implement strategies for children to protect themselves and for caregivers to reduce the risk of child abuse. 5. Identify services that can support positive outcomes for children at risk of abuse and for children exposed to abuse.
