09:45: Ultrasound Guided Injections Demonstration by Dr. McDonald and Dr. Sampaio (Small Skills Room); 10:30: Residents will practice surgical skills with Faculty (Large Skills Room) Proctors: Dr. Frédéric Balg Dr. Ryan Bicknell Dr. Aaron Bois Dr. Kenneth Faber Dr. Moin Khan Dr. Jennifer McDonald Dr. Dominique Rouleau Dr. Marcos Sampaio Dr. Christian Veillette Learning Objectives: Identify and mark key bony landmarks, including portal sites, around the shoulder; Carry out a diagnostic arthroscopy and identify key anatomic structures; Insert bone anchors at appropriate locations for instability and rotator cuff repair; Evaluate and practice basic suture management technique required to carry out a shoulder stabilization / Cuff repair; Select and employ the proper knot tying tech that is appropriate for specific pathology; Select and use appropriate suture position and repair construct
