This interactive workshop offers primary care providers the opportunity to explore and gain practical experience with a variety of devices commonly used in the management of diabetes. Participants will have the chance to handle and try tools such as glucometers, continuous glucose monitors (CGMs), devices for administration of injected diabetes treatments.
Through guided demonstrations and hands-on practice, attendees will build confidence in device selection, patient education, and utilization of software applications to facilitate assessing diabetes control.
Compare and contrast commonly used diabetes management devices, including glucometers, continuous glucose monitors (CGMs), and injectable treatment tools.
Demonstrate appropriate handling and use of diabetes devices through guided hands-on practice.
Educate patients on device selection, proper usage, and troubleshooting techniques.
