Course Description

On behalf of the University of Ottawa Division of Gastroenterology, we would like to invite you to participate in the Advances in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Therapeutic Endoscopy Conference, taking place on September 12th and 13th, 2025 at Brookstreet Hotel in Ottawa. This conference will review important topics of relevance to specialists who care for individuals with digestive diseases. Through didactic lectures, panel discussions, case-based sessions and video demonstrations, experts in the fields of gastroenterology, hepatology and therapeutic endoscopy will present evidence-based updates that are relevant to clinical practice.  

Overall Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to summarize the latest evidence and clinical practice recommendations on evolving topics in gastroenterology, hepatology and therapeutic endoscopy through didactic lectures, expert panel discussions and case-based collaborative sessions at this program serving the Eastern Ontario region.

Accreditation

This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and approved by the University of Ottawa’s Office of Continuing Professional Development. You may claim a maximum of 10.75 hours (credits are automatically calculated).
