- Describe data from regulatory reports and demographic studies of MAID recipients.
- Interpret demographic and other observational data to evaluate the role of sociodemographic and illness factors in prompting MAID requests.
- Identify questions for future study in MAID practice.

Biography
James Downar is the Head of the Division of Palliative Care at the University of Ottawa, where he also works as an Intensivist. He holds a Clinical Research Chair in Palliative and End-of-Life Care.
