Session Details
By the end of this session participants will be able to:
1) Identify and differentiate perimenopausal symptoms from other gynecologic or systemic conditions presenting with similar features.
2) Interpret the hormonal and physiological changes during perimenopause within clinical scenarios to enhance diagnostic confidence and facilitate patient counseling.
3) Apply individualized, evidence-based tratment plans for perimenopausal symptoms-such as abnormal uterine bleeding, hot flashes, cognitive changes, mood changes, and sleep disturbances-through case discussions.
4) Implement effective communication strategies in case scenarios to validate patient experiences, address fears, and support shared decision-making during the perimenopausal transition.
