Biography
Dr. Jill Chorney is the Scientific Lead for the Mental Health and Addictions program at IWK Health, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry. Her research interests are in the areas of shared decision making, implementation science, and patient-provider interactions. In her role as Scientific Lead, Dr. Chorney promotes the integration of research into practice and supports the Mental Health and Addictions program working in a Learning Health System framework. Jill is deeply committed to applied research that directly improves experiences and outcomes for clients, families, and care providers.
