Biography

Ege is an ABGC (American Board of Genetic Counseling) certified genetic counsellor in the Autism Research Unit of the Genetics and Genome Biology program at SickKids. She is the inaugural trainee for the Precision Child & Youth Mental Health Clinician Scientist Training Exchange Program between SickKids and CHEO. In her current role, she is involved in research focusing on genetics of neuropsychiatric and neurodevelopmental conditions. She provides genetic counselling in a research setting to families enrolled in the genetics of autism research study and supports the multidisciplinary DAGSY clinic with translation of genomic information.
