By the end of this session, participants will be able to: 1. Identify patients who would benefit most from a rheumatology referral 2. Identify rheumatologic emergencies requiring urgent referral and describe how to en-sure patients are assessed promptly 3. Order appropriate initial laboratory tests for a patient with a suspected vasculitis, in-flammatory arthritis, or autoimmune connective tissue disease 4.Order the appropriate imaging work-up for a patient with suspected inflammatory arthritis. 5.Identify other outpatient services and community resources for patients with a con-firmed or suspected rheumatic disorder
