Biography
Dr Laurel Charlesworth is a neurologist and sleep physician at the Ottawa Hospital, and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Ottawa. She completed her medical degree at McMaster University's Niagara Regional Campus, followed by neurology residency in Ottawa, and a fellowship in sleep medicine at Queen's University. She has a clinical interest in the overlap of neurologic conditions and sleep medicine, and occupational/aviation neurology. She combines these interests to help educate physicians and trainees on fatigue risk management impact and strategies within the healthcare system, with focus on physician wellness.
