This course will provide a week-long broad spectrum review of radiological sub-specialties for radiologists and residents in preparation for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada licensing exam in Diagnostic Radiology. This course is intended as a general review and preparatory course for the Royal College Exam in Diagnostic Radiology. The intended audience is radiology residents and practicing radiologists interested in a general review.

Small groups take cases in a virtual setting in a rapid-fire format to prepare for the types of cases frequently encountered on the OSCE portion of the RCPSC Diagnostic Radiology Exam.

Intended for those scheduled to take the Royal College Exam in 2022, participants will be paired up for an hour one-on-one virtual session with a Radiologist where you will review a total of 9 cases. Individual feedback will be provided along with a pass or fail score.

Dr. Andrew Scott-Moncrieff is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Scott-Moncrieff is a member of the multidisciplinary team at the Women’s Breast Health Centre and practices both Breast and Body Imaging at The Ottawa Hospital Civic, General and Riverside Campuses.

Dr. Zaid Jibri is an Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa and a musculoskeletal radiologist in the Department of Medical Imaging at The Ottawa Hospital. He is the director of musculoskeletal radiology fellowship program. His clinical and academic interests include sports medicine, patellofemoral joint disorders, ankle imaging, and spondyloarthritis. He is actively involved in multimodality imaging research projects within the department of radiology and in collaboration with researchers from the Divisions of rheumatology and Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Ottawa.
Dr. Jibri is a member of the International Skeletal Society (ISS).

Dr. Akshat Gotra is an Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa and an interventional radiologist in the Department of Medical Imaging at The Ottawa Hospital. He is the interventional radiology residency program director at the University of Ottawa. His clinical and academic interests include dialysis interventions, advanced embolization procedures, peripheral vascular disease and endovascular aneurysm repair.
Dr. Gotra is a member of the Canadian Association for Interventional Radiology (CAIR) and the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR).
