We all enjoy different ways of working and learning together.
We are inviting submissions for the following types of sessions during the conference. Any topic can be covered using one of these methods.
To facilitate peer review, contribution submissions should not exceed 250 words. There are no specific requirements for the format of the contribution submission, however, you may submit in research format (i.e., Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions) where applicable.
Quick-Talk (5-minute session): Telling a story
Use 1 – 3 slides and a story telling format to share an idea or experience. Slides should have big visuals or videos and preferably few words.
Presentation (20 minute session): Sharing our stories
Talk about a topic that interests you. Share information, an experience, or something you are thinking about. Your presentation will be grouped with two other presentations of a similar theme with time at the end of the 90-minute session devoted to questions and discussions. You can do this as a solo presentation or with multiple people.
Panel (60 or 90 minute session): Conversation from multiple perspectives
Host a group of 3 or 4 contributors around a common theme. Panel should include multiple perspectives – such as youth, families, clinicians, leaders, policy makers, or care providers. A third of the time should be devoted to questions and discussions.
Workshop (60 or 90 minute session): Teaching and practicing
Use your expertise to lead an interactive workshop on an idea or skill that will enhance a component or value of CAPA. This could include
instruction or demonstration of the idea or skill, opportunities for attendees
to practice, discussion of examples applying the idea or skill. May include more
than one facilitator, if that’s helpful.
Please remember that all sessions will be recorded and consider that in
your planning.
In recognizing that this event is international and not everyone can attend during real time, for the Quick-Talk and Presentation format, there will options for attending in real time or by sending in a pre-recorded video. All sessions will be recorded.
Have an idea but not sure where to start?
We’d love to hear from you – reach out and let’s have a conversation about your ideas.
