Course Description 

The Annual Canadian Refresher Course is designed to provide radiation oncology residents, clinicians in practice, and other members of the Canadian radiation oncology community with a comprehensive review and update of clinical practice across most sub-disciplines of radiation oncology.  The course is designed for professionals and trainees to remain current in the state-of-the-art techniques in the rapidly changing field of radiation oncology, by reviewing key evidence that forms the basis for current clinical practice guidelines and upcoming trials for new approaches. Click here for more course details. 

This educational forum has been designed as an intensive online course over 6 days, including lectures for 5 days, from Saturday, November 24 to Thursday, November 28, 2024. A simulation of the FRCPC examinations in written format is included for all registrants. *A simulation of the FRCPC oral examination on Friday, November 29 is reserved for 2025 Royal College examinees only.

Post-event access to recorded lectures and presentation materials are made available through EventsAIR for a period of 90 days post course.


Optional Mock Oral Exam

Intended for those scheduled to take the Royal College Exam in 2025. Participants will have one-on-one virtual sessions via Zoom on Friday, November 29 with Radiation Oncologists where you will review a total of four cases, 15 minutes per session. Individual feedback will be provided along with a pass or fail score.
