Target Audience: All faculty members at the Faculty of Medicine

Learning objectives:

At the end of the session participants will be able to:

  • Recognize inappropriate or unintentional crossing of boundaries in the work and learning environment.
  • Address  professionalism boundary crossing and boundary violations when they involve you or  witnessed by you or a colleague
  • Describe and access  the resources and procedures for addressing lapses in professionalism with learners and colleagues at the Faculty of Medicine.

 

 

This session has been pre-approved for the Teaching Skills Attainment Award.

 

 
Accreditation:
This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada for 1.5 hours. This program has been reviewed and approved by the University of Ottawa, Office of Continuing Professional Development.  This Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by the University of Ottawa’s Office of Continuing Professional Development for up to 1.5 Mainpro+ credits.
