OVERALL LEARNING OBJECTIVES
After participating in this session, attendees should be able to:
- Recognize key risk factors associated with complex surgical obstetrical interventions and their implications for patient care.
- Outline an evidence-based approach to managing postpartum hemorrhage, including stepwise interventions.
- Apply a structured approach to performing a Cesarean hysterectomy, integrating key surgical techniques.
- Assess the diagnostic criteria and management strategies for placenta accreta spectrum disorder to improve patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate an approach to diagnosing and managing complex vaginal lacerations, including fourth-degree tears, with appropriate surgical techniques
