Dr. Anuj Dixit is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Ottawa. His area of expertise is in cardiothoracic imaging and thoracic interventions. He completed his diagnostic imaging residency at Memorial University in 2018 and completed his Cardiothoracic Imaging fellowship at Mayo Clinic in 2019. He is a native of Ottawa. Dr. Dixit has many diverse research interests and has presented his research at multiple national and international conferences. His recent projects include: Imaging of Checkpoint Inhibitor-Related Pneumonitis and Prevalence of Diffuse Pulmonary Ossification in Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, Scleroderma Associated Interstitial Lung Disease, and Chronic Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis.
MD, FRCPC - Co-course Director
Dr. Kelly Harper is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Ottawa. Her area of expertise is Abdominal Imaging and Intervention. She completed her medical school at Queen's University, Kingston and her residency here in Ottawa. This was followed by an abdominal imaging and intervention fellowship at The Mayo Clinic, MN. Dr. Harper is passionate about teaching, procedural work, and multi-disciplinary care. Her recent publications include Hepatic Hypointensities on Hepatobiliary Phase Imaging, Hepatic Sinusoidal Disorders, and Percutaneous Image Guided Cryoablation of Adrenal Metastases From Renal Cell Carcinoma.
MSc, MD, FRCPC - Co-course Director
Dr. Mary Beth Bissell is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Ottawa. Her area of expertise is in Breast Imaging and Intervention. She completed her Diagnostic Imaging Residency training at Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2019 followed by a Clinical Breast Imaging Fellowship at the University of Toronto in 2020. Dr. Bissell has a broad area of research interests including breast cancer screening and breast MRI interventional outcomes as well as emergency radiology. She is passionate about medical education having published articles about the use of online emergency radiology curriculum for residency training programs.
