Overall Learning Objectives
By the end of this program, participants will be able to:
- Explain Differential Diagnosis and essential imaging of the painful pre-arthritic hip
- Discuss current indications and results of osteotomies about the hip
- Formulate a treatment algorithm for labral tears
- Discuss the principles of hip arthroscopy
- Explain techniques of labral repair as well as capsular management
- Explain indications for new surgical approaches as well as their impact on rapid recovery programs
- Explain investigation of the painful metal on metal total hip
- Recognize the clinical indications for various implant designs for both primary and revision hip surgery.
