Session Details
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
•Recognize the common clinical presentations of non-IgE–mediated food allergy across different age groups.
•Differentiate non-IgE–mediated food allergy from IgE-mediated allergy and other gastrointestinal conditions.
•Describe the stepwise diagnostic approach, including elimination diets, oral food challenges, and when endoscopy/biopsy is indicated.
•Identify red flags and know when to refer patients for specialist evaluation (e.g., suspected FPIES, eosinophilic GI disease, growth concerns).
