CiMED Teacher Rounds 2026

CiMED Teacher Rounds 
This accredited educational series is geared towards practical skill development for front line faculty teachers. Sessions will be held virtually once a month on a Monday from 4:30-5:30pm. These rounds are open to all teaching faculty affiliated with the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine. 
These sessions will provide a forum for discussion of medical teaching challenges, promote awareness and discussion of the medical teaching literature, and foster a community of practice.

OVERALL LEARNING OBJECTIVES 

By the end of this series, participants will be able to:
1. Discuss contemporary challenges to medical teaching and possible solutions 
2. Describe key published literature that informs their teaching practice 
3. Compare and contrast the work of other teachers in the Faculty of Medicine

 

ACCREDITATION
This activity has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada for up to 1.00 Mainpro+® Certified Activity credits per session you attended.
This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the University of Ottawa’s Office of Continuing Professional Development. You may claim a maximum of 1.00 hours (credits are automatically calculated) per session attended.
