Details

The National Gallery of Canada is delighted to collaborate with Creating Space 16, to deliver a Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) workshop for conference participants. The workshop will be co-facilitated alongside Dr. Wendy Stewart (Associate Professor; Director of Medical Humanities; Director of Faculty Development, Continuing Professional Development, and Medical Education, Department of Pediatrics, Dalhousie University Faculty of Medicine) and Dr. Alan Ng (Associate Professor, Director of Behavioural Medicine, Department of Family Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa).  VTS is a well-established educational approach that cultivates careful observation, reflective dialogue, and perspective-taking, and has demonstrated significant value in health professions and medical education—particularly in fostering empathy, patient-centred care and provider wellbeing. $15 for CAHH members $30 for non-members
