The National Gallery of Canada is delighted to collaborate with Creating Space 16, to deliver a Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) workshop for conference participants.
The workshop will be facilitated by:

Ms. Andrea Gumpert (Educator, Wellbeing Programs, Community Engagement, National Gallery of Canada).
VTS is a well-established educational approach that cultivates careful observation, reflective dialogue, and perspective-taking, and has demonstrated significant value in health professions and medical education—particularly in fostering empathy, patient-centred care and provider wellbeing.
Learning Objectives: Use Visual Thinking Strategies to enhance observation, reflection, and perspective-taking skills. Identify ways to apply VTS in health professions education and practice to promote empathy, patient-centred care, and professional wellbeing.
