Two Exciting Categories

  • Written
    Poetry, creative non-fiction, fiction, etc. – entries accepted in English or French
  • Visual
    Painting, sculpture, photography, etc.

The Canadian Conference in Health Humanities is a unique gathering where health professionals, educators, learners, artists and people with lived experience come together to explore how the arts and humanities enrich medical education, clinical practice and wellness.

The 2026 conference will feature workshops, panels, performances, and exhibits that showcase the vital role of creativity and humanistic inquiry in health care. Prizes will be awarded to three medical student or resident finalists in the Visual Art and Creative Writing categories. Finalists will also have the opportunity to share their work during the conference.
