The Department of Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Ottawa views continuing medical education (CME) as a core mission of our department. Our commitment is to create and host several CME courses every year in Canada and around the world to enhance the learning experience in the constantly evolving field of Medicine. Not only do we feel that the scientific content of these CME courses is important, but we also hope to learn from each other, renew old ties and develop new relationships.
The University of Ottawa, Office of Continuing Medical Education provides and/or contributes to continuing professional development opportunities for practicing physicians, specialists and other health professionals. The office provides courses that are evidence-based, enhancing and maintaining medical knowledge, clinical skills, and professional attitudes, and promoting best practices and quality care.
In keeping with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada accreditation standards, all speakers are asked to disclose any real or apparent conflict(s) of interest that may have a bearing on the content of their presentations. The intent of disclosure is to make potential influences known to the participants so they may make their own conclusions about the content presented.
