Q. When does registration open and close?
A. Registration opened on September 15, 2025 and closes on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at 11:59pm., or once capacity has been reached. Early registration is recommended as this course sells out.
Q: What is included in my registration?
A: Registration as a plenary registrant includes access to all live sessions, course materials, Sunday Welcome Reception, meals, and on-demand recordings for the duration of the access period. Due to the Royal College's new exam schedule, extended access will be granted.

Q. Is there an option to only sign up for the optional sessions (mock OSCE written exam, hotseat session, mock oral exam)?
A. No. Registration for these sessions is only available with a purchase of a core registration.
Q: Is group registration available?
A: Yes. Group registration is available for educational instituaties of 2 or more participants. If paying by credit card, Friday, January 23. If paying by cheque, please provide us with their details no later than Sunday, January 4 as it can take up to 4 weeks to process. Please contact ottawaradcme@toh.ca for assistance.
Q: What if I receive an error when processing payment?
A: If you encounter a billing error, please ensure your contact and mailing details do not contain special characters such as . - # / ( ) *. These are not permitted. Accented characters should not cause an error.
Q: What is the cancellation and refund policy?
A: All fees are non-refundable. A 13% HST (subject to change) will be applied. Only credit card payment is accepted if registering as a sole registrant, and payment must be received at the time of registration to confirm enrollment.
Q. Are there virtual components of the course?
A. Yes, the Mock OSCE exam is self-directed via Brightspace and access is granted for 3 months. The access information is provided the week before the course. In addition, there are hotseat sessions: Monday (EN and FR), Tuesday (EN only), Wednesday (EN only) from 7:00–9:00 p.m. ET, and Mock Oral Exams via Zoom on Friday, February 6. Please note the mock oral exams and taking cases at the hotseat sessions will be offered exclusively to candidates who will sit for the Royal College exam on March 24–25. The ORRC will be evolving into two new, fully virtual courses in 2027, and one of them will be for first-year CBD residents as they prepare for their September oral exam. Q: Will sessions be recorded?
A: Yes. All lectures will be recorded and available through the EventsAIR portal.
Q. How long will I have access to on-demand content?
A. All lectures will be recorded and available on-demand through the EventsAIR portal following the course. For the CBD cohort, access will be extended until late September 2026 to help you prepare for your exams. Recordings will be processed and uploaded by February 17 EOD. To access, log in to EventsAIR, select the session, and press Play.
Q. Will PDFs of lectures be available?
A. Yes. When provided by speakers, PDFs are uploaded and available through the EventsAIR portal. To access, select the session, click Handouts, and download the PDF.
Q: Is there a 2026 meeting app?
A: Yes. The meeting app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play by searching The Event App by EventsAir (Centium Software Pty Ltd). The event code will be provided in your welcome email closer to the course date.
Q: What features are available in the meeting app?

Q: How do I obtain my confirmation email or receipt?
A: A confirmation email and receipt are sent automatically to the email address used at registration. If you do not receive it, please check your junk/spam folder. For assistance, contact ottawaradcme@toh.ca.
Q: Where do I pick up my badge? Do I need to provide documentation?
A: Badges can be picked up on the second floor of The Rogers Centre Ottawa (formerly the Shaw Centre), just outside the Ottawa Salon. Valid photo ID is required. Attendees must wear their badge each day of the conference.
Q: How will attendance be recorded, and when will I receive my certificate of participation?
A: To be eligible for CME credits, you must attend lectures live in person. Eligible participants will receive a certificate of participation within a week of the event. Please keep this email handy for your future reference.
Q. Where is the event taking place, and how do I get there?
A. The course will be held at the Rogers Centre Ottawa in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Information on parking, public transportation, and nearby accommodations is available on the Plan Your Travel page.
