At the end of this 90-minute workshop, participants will be able to:
1. Identify evidence-based mechanisms through which humor supports connection, reduces shame, and enhances recovery in patients with eating disorders.
2. Describe how adaptive humor styles (affiliative and self-enhancing) promote clinician resilience and mitigate burnout.
3. Demonstrate at least two core stand-up comedy techniques—such as framing, timing, and storytelling vulnerability—and apply them thoughtfully in clinical or educational settings.
