Dr Randy Gangbar is a psychiatrist practising in Toronto, an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at The University of Toronto, and has a private practice, with a particular focus on working with families and couples. He earned his MD and did his specialty training at the University of Toronto, and then trained at the Family Institute of Chicago for an additional 2 years. He has taught at the Centre of Addiction and Mental Health for 40 years conducting seminars on family assessment and family oriented treatment, and is a consultant psychiatrist at
WoodGreen Community Services (for the past 15 years), and
worked as a consultant and seminar leader at Jewish Family
and Child for 30 years.
