Mandatory Sessions with ONLINE Registration
PGY-2 Residents (all specialties except FM and sub-specialty groups of FM) are expected to complete the following mandatory sessions. Information will be sent to the Resident's uOttawa email address before July 1, 2024 with instructions on how to register.

Health Advocacy Day This session is new to the PGME Symposia Series Curriculum and mandatory for all PGY2 programs including Family Medicine. ***Pediatrics Program Residents, this session is not a mandatory requirement. | 2023-2024 Session Dates: - Tuesday, October 17, 2023 - Tuesday, November 21, 2023 - Thursday, February 8, 2024 - Tuesday, April 2, 2024 2024-2025 Dates coming soon! | Full day (8:00 - 17:00) There will be 4 session dates to choose from and advance online registration will be required. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- PGY-2 Residents starting July 1, 2024 (not including Family Medicine) must complete 9 mandatory online modules through the CMPA website. Further details and access links are listed in the Online Modules tab above, or within your uOttawa Brightspace account.
MISSED SESSIONS
- If a session is missed during the first year of residency, the Resident is required to make it up during the academic year and as soon as possible. Scheduled sessions are listed on the PGY-1 tab above. Pease notify the CPD office for registration links and information. Contact information on the Home tab.
