CAPA Research Incubator Day

Registration for the Research Incubator Day is live! 
Register for this special event while you register for the International 
CAPA Conference.  

Join us for the CAPA Research Incubator Day to build from the 1st International Choice & Partnership Approach (CAPA) Conference.

We invite you to join us to generate ideas and develop international research teams who share common values about the way we provide mental health services using CAPA.  

Our goals for the day are to: 

  • Bring together researchers, clinicians, those with lived experience, parents/caregivers, administrators and policy makers, and any other interested individuals 

  • Identify CAPA research priorities including: 
    - Understanding what outcomes matter
    - Evaluating CAPA implementation

  • Build a collaborative CAPA research community
    - Share resources
    - Disseminate findings 
    - Design and develop funding applications for future research

Hosted by the IWK Health Mental Health and Addictions program in this virtual event will be on Monday May 17th from 09:00 - 15:00 & 18:30 - 20:30 Atlantic Daylight Time (ADT). 


Tentative Schedule for the day

09:00  - 12:00     Large group, presentations, and small group discussion

12:00  - 13:00     Break/Networking

13:00  - 15:00     Large group, small group discussion

Optional Evening (all welcome):

18:30 - 20:30   Informal consultation across time zones to include those just getting up in their day to join – New Zealand and Australian collaborators
