Key Methods or ways of
working together

We all enjoy different ways of working and learning together.

We are inviting submissions for the following types of sessions during the conference.  Any topic can be covered using one these methods.

Quick-Talk (5-minute session): Telling a story
Use 1 – 3 slides and a story telling format to share an idea or experience. Slides should have big visuals or videos and preferably few words.

Presentation (30 minute session): Sharing our stories
Talk about a topic that interests you.  Share information, an experience, or something you are thinking about. 5-10 minutes of the time should be devoted to questions and discussions. You can do this as a solo presentation or with multiple people.

Panel (60 or 90 minute session): Conversation from multiple perspectives
Host a group of 3 or 4 contributors around a common theme. Panel should include multiple perspectives – such as youth, families, clinicians, leaders, policy makers, or care providers.  20-25 minutes of the time should be devoted to questions and discussions.

Workshop (60 or 90 minute session): Teaching and practicing
Use your expertise to lead an interactive workshop on an idea or skill that will enhance a component or value of CAPA. This could include instruction or demonstration of the idea or skill, opportunities for attendees to practice, discussion of case examples applying the idea or skill. May include more than one facilitator, if that’s helpful.

In recognizing that this event is international and not everyone can attend during real time, for the Quick-Talk and Presentation format, there will options for attending in real time or by sending in a pre-recorded video.
